Happy New Year...?

Ah, these holidays come and go too quickly! I decided to take a shower at 11:30 last night and came out with five minutes to spare before the start of the New Year! So I didn't go out. The weather was lousy! Instead, I toasted 2006 with a glass of ginger ale and Marie Brizard apricot liqueur. ^__^;...

I haven't thought much about resolutions yet, except to maybe be more consistent with my work-outs. I think I make that resolution every year! I could say that I resolve to write at least 100 pages of my novel and outfit all the naked dollies in my room but instead I'll just say I won't be a bum like last year. ::cracks knuckles::

I just met Nefly in Ketelburk in TOA and heard the creepy story of Jade's past. It's pretty much accepted that Jade is a rip-off of Valkyrie Profile's Lezard Valeth at least in concept (same voice actor, hair color, both are necromancers who wear glasses and speak keigo etc...), the big difference being that Jade is a protagonist and a grey character with a basic ability to relate to others while Lezard is a sociopath with few redeeming qualities (but isn't that fun?). But when Jade was growing up he was like mini-Lezard? Ha ha ha ha ha! :D Nefly seems quite afraid of her brother but I think her cleavage is even more scary!

I love snowy towns and Ketelburk is one of the most beautiful towns I've seen in an RPG.

Because items are damn expensive in this game and now there's this future vendor who wants 200,000 gald from me, I'm forcing Tear to work as a waitress and make me some cash. I've also been running around outside and the enemies are tough as hell! I can't remember what level my other characters are at but Jade is at level 40 and he just learned Saint Bubble (or something like that). It's so useful when you're fighting water elemental enemies in the snow. O_O

It's so hard to hold onto money in this game. I'm feeling nostalgic for the time when Kristen was playing Star Ocean 3 and was constantly running out of money even at the end of the game. I'm glad Tear can work as a waitress because I was thinking of forcing Natalia to be a streetwalker. ^o^

I think I'm going to park myself in Ketelburk for a while. I like being employed!

After seeing a few surprise face chats about Dist I've decided that he's probably the most realistic character in the game. I've totally known people like him, those freaky melodramatic people that you take pity on because they have no friends and then they clamp onto you and give you stuff and call you like fifteen times day to describe the latest misery in their life (like they stubbed their toe, their mailman hates them or the celebrity crush they've been writing love letters to hasn't responded) and you just have to cut them off, dammit, even though you feel sorry for them and you don't want them to be alone just how much blood can this vampire suck from you?

I think I need a cup of tea.

Yeah, I admit Natalia wouldn't be a convincing prostitute, unless she was the one who didn't do anything but sit in a chair and stare at people while they were going at it. Or she could be a dominatrix. XD

If Guy were a male prostitute I'm sure it'd make a heart-wrenching story. Everyone would love him and then he'd contract HIV and die.
