Yes, I've been knitting a lot lately. I'm halfway done with the front of my sweater and even though I still have the sleeves and the collar to do I'm starting to think about my next project. I know a lot of people have made the Tempting sweater from knitty.com and I think it's cute and looks easy enough to make. I noticed that Debbie Bliss Cashmerino Aran yarn is mighty skinny...so I tried a gauge swatch with the Knitpicks Merino-style (DK weight!) yarn I'm using with my sweater. With #8 circular knitting needles the swatch was 4 1/4 inches (it was supposed to be 4 inches). I'm assuming this means that if I go down to #7 needles Merino-style will be fine?

I've come to terms with the fact that I'd have to be out of my mind to make myself something in Tide Pool. I was thinking the Tempting sweater might look nice in Cornflower and a silver ribbon if I can find one. I like Hollyberry too but I'm concerned it might be more brown in person...

Ernest takes the cake as the most boring and useless character in my party. I kind of wish I hadn't triggered his appearance in the Hoffman Ruins. Does he have any private actions at all?

Once when I was attempting to level-up Claude got killed in battle and Bowman had a reaction! I think that since I completed the Eleanor event in Herlie they love each other, mwah ha ha! :D I'm still having a hard time believing that Claude would end up with anyone besides Rena. I remember that when Kristen played Claude and Ashton had high affection but because Claude ended up with Rena Ashton and Leon wound up together. I'm just going to have to take care to make Leon like Claude too and keep him and Bowman in the same party for most of the game. ^o^;

Yeah, so what if I like Bowman?! A character doesn't need to be hot for me to like him. I liked Spooky in Soul Hackers, for crying out loud, he was my man!

I remember that when I first saw the opener to Soul Hackers I thought, "Gee, Spooky bears a striking resemblance to Peter Falk!" XD

Tempting I is enchantingly easy to knit! (I haven't tried Tempting Too yet.) I found mine is a bit big/loose on me due to the 2x2 rib, but I was also a bit sloppy with my gauge and yarn substitutions.

I thought your Tempting I sweater was cute! ^_^ Sometimes I worry about substituting yarn for a clingy garment that's supposed to stretch but that Cashmerino Aran yarn is like $8 a skein. o_o

One of the sweaters I want to knit for my husband... the recommended yarn is $16 a skein. 10 skeins to make the sweater.

You BET I'm looking for a substitute yarn. :p
