About Time! Meet Vania.

Tonight I painted my first doll in who knows how long. I took my time rooting her too! ^_^;

Her name is Vania and I made her using my last Volks SH-09 head. Her hair is a blend of Restoredoll Ash Brown, Ash Blonde and Purple Passion. I had a hard time styling the back (I boil-permed it around drinking straws) but I think it turned out all right.

I don't root ponytails often but I've made so many dolls that I needed a change of pace!

Oh wow! What a gorgeous mesh you created there! Love those colors and the dress color brings them out! I like her expression too!

Thank you ^_^! I made a split-second decision about the colors but I like how it turned out too.

The SH-09 head looks masculine unpainted but I thought it might be nice to try something really feminine with it. I'm glad you like her!
