Wa ha ha. O_o

The roofer finally gave us an estimate for the work that needs to be done on our house.

I never thought anything could be that expensive. O_o....I'm going to have to sell one of my kidneys after all! I wish a hurricane would hit here right now and tear off the roof. At least then the repairs would be covered by insurance!

Kristen and I did some planting today. We had bought a few packets of cosmos seeds and Wayside Gardens sent us a partial shipment for the sale planties that we ordered. I don't even know where to put this stuff any more. We should have bought more part to full shade plants! We did get a nice Oriental Lily mix that we planted in the side garden. We also stuck one of those Molechaser things in the ground and we're hoping that'll prevent critters from running away with our bulbs.

I have a blister-thing on my right index finger from too much rooting. There was a wasp crawling across the porch floor and I squashed it with a hard-cover copy of The Canterbury Tales. Lately I've been wondering when the cicadas are going to show up. I hate those things. Ever since that time I was on vacation and one got into my bedroom at 2 a.m.....O_O
