If you, gentle reader, are not interested customizing 1/6 scale dolls, you may ignore this entry. ^o^

I've been painting 1/6 scale dolls for 3 and a half years. I've made male and female dolls, and a mini boy and girl. I've been using mostly Volks materials, but I'm ashamed to say that I've never painted the head that comes with the Volks N Body! These past couple of months materials have become harder to find, and I've been faced with a dilemma about what heads to use for male dolls. Rather than continue to stress out about not being able to find enough lovely SH-06 heads for my boys, I decided to give the N-head a try:

My First N-Head )

I just painted a blank head I found lying around, and I did a messy job. I effed up one of the eyebrows, and the lips could be better...but all in all, I like this head. It's not nearly as creepy as I thought it would be. I find I prefer it to the C (SH-10) head for boys because the chin isn't quite so weak. It's still quite angular and a bit weird but I think I will try making at least one of my boys with this head. I think I need to improve my eyebrow painting skills, though! =_=

I can't keep using the same head over and over, after all. Let's have some variety!
