...to burn your finger poking creme brulee, then knit with it, ignoring the pain because you want to see what the next row looks like worked out!

Thankfully, my index finger was not badly burned and feels better today. I am making a shawl for a real person (me!) out of this pretty Lion Brand ribbon yarn called Trellis (Stained Glass). The pattern calls for #19 needles and they look like they could be used to stake a vampire's heart. ^o^

It rained again today and that meant I didn't need to water the lawn. Yay! My friend the spider has shrunk drastically in size over the past couple of days. I don't know much about spiders, but Kristen says she saw an egg sack near the spider web.
