Big Big Snow.

It snowed crazy today! I think we got about six inches. And until our neighbor from across the street took pity on me and bailed me out with his snowblower, I was the only one in the household shoveling. ^o^

The snow was light but I had my lack of height to make up for. It's the same reason I have a hard time replacing the jug on the spring water cooler. Having to lift a heavy object and set it down above the height of your shoulders is a strain!

It wasn't that bad, though. Kristen made huevos rancheros from a recipe out of the latest issue of Cooks' Illustrated and even though I wondered how salsa made from roasted anemic store-bought plum tomatoes would be it was soooo good! :D When Kristen was going to leave the room to find a box of tissues (the eggs were spicy!) I told her she had better guard her plate. Either shoveling snow works up an appetite or I've become a real glutton lately. =_=

It's about time I worked on a doll. I haven't felt like it yet, probably because it's so cold.

On the gaming front....holy crap, Famitsu gave Tales of the Abyss all 9s? A 36/40? O_O That's never been done for a Tales game! And here I was expecting the worst, mwah hah hah! I figure that either the game is fantastic or Bump of Chicken had to chip in for the bribe. ^o^;....Here's to hoping it's number one! ::crosses fingers::
