Meet Butterfly Bush "Black Knight!"

We planted this one in our back yard, a place that has seen no butterfly bush before. That makes it all right! I know it looks a lot like "Royal Red" and "Petite Plum" in the photo but it's actually much darker in person.

Also, there was a slug oozing along the outside of the pot. I put my hand right on it.

We had a tough time picking this one out. We went to our local nursery looking for "Attraction" or "Honeycomb" (preferably both) and they had mostly buddleia that we already own. I can't blame them, considering that we have seven not including "Black Knight!"

News on the garden front...my Fairy Tale Eggplants finally have little fruit on them! They still look like crap, though.
