The oriental poppies and bearded irises did not bloom this morning. However, Prairie Harvest looks absolutely glorious in the rain, like a bright full moon.

I just couldn't resist showing off another photo of Gillian Blades. It was a good idea to hard prune it this year. It's blooming so much better than last year!

Ah, but what a lousy picture! This is our new dianthus "Candy Floss." It finally pulled itself together and produced some pretty flowers.

I have to keep a hardware cloth cage around it because dianthus is rabbit candy. Mwah hah haaah....

I will take a better picture once it stops raining. Probably on Friday.

The flowers keep blooming and it won't stop raining! We've had this iris for two years. Last fall we dug it up and cut it into five divisions. Now all five divisions are blooming!
