Quietness is such a reliable rose...::sniff::

We just planted Darcey Bussell and Alchymist. It's hard to believe that tiny 6 inch climber has transformed into, well, a climber. As for Darcey Bussell, we had always intended on keeping her as a potted rose, but she's almost as big as our two-year-old Jude the Obscure right now. Oh my Glob!

I can't believe that of the Austins we got from RU, the one that's doing the worst is Wildeve. Maybe he burned himself out with that early flush. Lady Emma Hamilton is going to need to go in the ground, too. So much for my deck garden...
