I had done another Twilight a little while ago, but flickr errored on me again when I tried to post her. This was the Twilight that came in the jewelry salon set with Princess Cadance. She's a bit smaller and more rubbery than the Crystal Empire single Twilight.
I'm getting better at cutting the neckpost and re-tailing the ponies without doing any damage to the bodies. Using a flexible beading needle to insert the new tail is much easier than using a soft sculpture needle.
I finished the "artsy" Rarity tonight, and will photograph her tomorrow. Of course, I was unable to give her straight bangs because of the horn, but all in all she looks pretty cute. The darker blue-violet saran blend is much more flattering to her chalky white body color than the grape/red-violet nylon she came with.
Next up is Pinkie Pie of Commerce, LOL...
TRU is coming out with a new collector's set in September, with Queen Chrysalis instead of Nightmare Moon. Other ponies included are Princess Cadance, Shining Armor, Lyra Heartstrings, Derpy Hooves, Diamond Tiara and some other purple background pony whose name excapes me. Do not need another Cadance and do not know if a rerooted Cadance would sell, but I preordered it anyway. I wish they'd put Silver Spoon in a set...
