It's been snowing on and off almost every day. Gragh! At least we had a good spell of sun today. Here's a new picture of my funny BooBoo (Lucas).

Most cats are done growing by age one, but Ragdolls don't reach their adult size until they're three or four. When I compare a picture of Lucas taken around the time of his first birthday to one I took a few days ago I'm shocked by how much bigger he is now. His arms and legs have gotten huge!
It's weird to refer to a cat as having limbs like a human, but he's so lanky that when he lies on his back he literally looks like a human being with a cat head. :O
He's been a real whack job lately. He's going to be two at the end of April and he still plays more than any kitten I've met. This morning when I got up he was so overjoyed (probably because of the sun finally coming out)that he ran all over the house making squeaky noises and doing dolphin leaps. ^O^ He usually does that when he wants someone to play with him, and God forbid you want your tea first...he'll sneak up behind you and dive bomb your legs. If you're sitting down, he'll jump on your shoulder and grab you quickly with his soft, furry paws before darting away, making noises like a lunatic. O_O
I've never heard him hiss before, but he's gotten in the habit of growling whenever a delivery man rings the bell. I wonder if he's trying to tell us something...
