I haven't bought a Jenny doll and a long time(nor do I plan to, considering the size of my collection) but after a year I still can't seem to get this Castle Julia out of my head. It's weird because this kind of hairstyle is not something I'm usually attracted to:

But still, she is so cute! I love her green eyes, and the red topknot hairstyle reminds me of Mymble(the Mymble's Daughter in every Moomin book but the last one). There's a saying that all Jenny collectors are cheap. I totally agree with this. I own 4 Super Dollfies and assorted Pure Neemos but even though I love this doll I keep looking at the 5,000 yen price tag and thinking, "No, that's too much!"

She's so cute! Mymble topknot! I got a mymble-esque hairstyle on Second Life and declared myself a mymble for awhile. ^o^

Really? :D I didn't know you could do that, but then again, I don't know much about Second Life. It must be fun to be a mymble!

I was thinking that if I wanted to dress this doll as Mymble, all I would have to do is make her a cape or an a-line dress and get her some red boots. But then I have to think about deputy services and fees. :O Sometimes, it's just better to dream (and re-read Moomin books).

The Castle Country Dolls have always been expensive. Too bad they're the ones with the cutest hairstyles! I've always really liked Julia, even though she isn't that common. Most of my Jenny dolls are from before 2002. I tend to like the faces better on the older dolls (though I love my rerooted Sayuri).
