Haven't seen one of these in a while?

I know it hasn't been that long.
There's something very zen about spending three hours cooking a Sunday meal only to have it get gobbled up in under fifteen minutes. That is the nature of Cook's Illustrated's "Best Beef Stew." I want the leftovers tonight but I'm pretty sure I'm not going to be allowed to have them. ;_; Shouldn't the cooks get first dibs?
I'm thinking about trying out Strawberry Cupcakes with Strawberry-Cream Cheese Frosting in the next few days. Nobody but Kristen and I are interested in pink cupcakes. Why should I let that stop me?
I've been playing Persona 2: Innocent Sin for an hour every evening for the past four days. In many ways the two P2s are much more intricate and involved than 3 and 4. I wish Atlus would at least try to make a Persona game in the old style, with real dungeons and demon contacts rather than the big random dungeon/school simulation that calls itself Persona now....I wonder if it would be too costly? =_= Unfortunately, IS is loaded with bugs. The status menus load at a snail's pace, and the game froze twice on me when I was trying to load the save menu. Thankfully, there are no fatal bugs. At least, none I know of.
The story in IS is pretty goofy, but compared to P3 it's freaking War and Peace. I like the atmosphere in P2 much better, too. I wish Soejima would go back to doing more realistic art.
I'm playing old PSX games that are riddled with bugs. I'm rockin' it hard core now! XD

Date: 2010-03-09 08:09 pm (UTC)Now that Satomi Tadashi has left Atlus, there's not much hope in that!
