Our clematis "Will Goodwin" got ripped out of the ground last fall. By some miracle, it still came back this year. It was doing the best of all our clemati(?) until a strong wind gust broke the vine at the top, where all the flower buds were. Even though that part of the vine is hanging by a thread, the flowers are still opening. This plant is a true survivor.
