Reward After the Storm.

We got some bad thunderstorms last night that stayed parked over our area for at least an hour. I spent the whole time in my basement cowering with Lucas (who isn't even remotely afraid of storms, by the way) but I could hear large hail boinging off our roof for about five minutes. Thank goodness nothing was broken!
We were treated to a nice sunset afterwards. Those steep mid-level lapse rates that gave us giant hail always light up the night sky nice and pretty.
