The Last of the Daylilies.

I'm assuming it is, unless one of the new daylilies surprises us by reblooming.

This is "Rosy Returns." I read on some forum that a lot of people think this daylily is ugly, but I think it's cute enough! People are just too picky.

I'm dying to get either "Fancy Border" or "Key Lime Ice" for next year. I don't like the idea of having to pay $20 or over for a two fan division when Smokeys has perfectly nice daylilies for $5. Still, I'm starting to run out of room. I wonder if I can afford to be picky?

By the way, one of floribunda rose "Moondance"'s new flowerbuds is starting to open. It looks flawless at this point--no brown edges. I wonder if I really did do it to it last month. Maybe I shouldn't have sprayed insecticidal soap directly on the flowerbuds...

Unfortunately, "Moondance" is in a badly lit spot for photos. If I want to take a good picture of one of the flowers, I'm going to have to clip it and give it to a doll to hold.
