Uzumaki!

This is what I always wanted to do with one of the Silly Hair Lalaloopsies. For those of you who aren't familiar with the Japanese horror manga Uzumaki (English translation: Spiral), it's about a lot of weird and gory happenings involving spirals. In one particular chapter, the heroine's hair acquires a life of its own and grows out into these monstrous curls that attack people. Eventually, she and her rival (who also acquires the Uzumaki hair) have a showdown on school grounds and use their hair to beat each other up. Of course, the hair really has a mind of its own...

I think that if Silly Hair Crumbs Sugar Cookie were to get in a fight with her hair, she would probably be the nice girl. Jewel Sparkles seems to be more of the ruthless type. XD

I remember Uzumaki! I even saw the movie.

The washing machine one is the one I really remember. But I remember the hair battle too.

I think that the washing machine one must have only been in the movie. The manga was available free to read online for a while, until Viz made the evildoer take it down.

I'm not one to advocate stealing manga, but I really missed it once it was gone!

I remember I read it serialized in some Viz manga collection - I can't for the life of me remember the name, I keep thinking of it as the "weird stuff manga." I think they discontinued it, but I"m pretty sure it's the first place I saw Junko's art.
