Hey, it's here and it's really red.
Unfortunately, we planted it in such a sunny spot that it's very difficult to photograph. But oh, what a color! I think the technical name is "Dark Red" but that's not very romantic. I'll call it "garnet."

I'm still relatively new to gardening, but I see potential losses everywhere--I'm very worried about our Buck rose "Prairie Sunrise." Awhile ago we lost our beautiful flowering quince "Toyo-nishiki" to a vole attack and never replaced it. I have to warn you to stay away from those--one bite and they're dead!
