I went out early this morning looking for "Quietness," which still hasn't quite opened all the way. Instead I found this lovely bloom from "Chapeau de Napoleon," its second flower that was born during a dry spell.

Even though it's small, I am really loving this plant. It's so petite but so tough, so loyal. And like the best of all roses, it doesn't have thrips.
