Another exceptional Buck Rose.

Unfortunately, I've only been able to take lousy pictures...
I've added "Polonaise" to my list of favorite Griffith Buck roses. It's a good grower, and the full, raspberry pink blooms are exceptionally beautiful. I've heard that they last longer in the vase than any other Buck rose. Pretty impressive, considering that most Buck roses scatter their petals in 24 hours!
When we got this rose from Chamblee's it already had a flower on it that was dark purplish red. Our home-grown flowers are a completely different color!
At this point the only Buck rose that has really disappointed with the vigor is "Golden Princess." Even "Prairie Star" has been getting its act together. And our puny "Prairie Sunrise" is putting out another bud.
