I imagine that "Winter Sunset" and "Prairie Harvest" together would look like the sun and the moon. This new bloom from "Winter Sunset" is huge and looks more like an Itoh intersectional peony than a rose to me. This rose is probably the hardiest and healthiest plant we grow.

I think that "Simon Estes" might finally bloom for real tomorrow. Unfortunately, beetles have damaged "Jude the Obscure's" only flower bud. They're leaving "Evelyn" alone, Thank God.
