Strong winds and heavy rainfall have heaved my beloved Marianne right out of the ground. I don't know if that's enough to kill a 2 foot tall rosebush, but I can't lose Marianne. I'm afraid that if I wait too long to find out if she'll die I won't be able to replace her...boo hoo hoo!

I don't know if a rosebush can be killed that way, honestly. I hope not! You can transplant them pretty easily, and they can even live in a bucket of water. I wouldn't be so bothered if it had happened to any other rose, but Marianne is only sold at one nursery that tends to sell out of roses for a long time.

I could always place an order for a replacement band for next year just in case...but the problem is that Marianne can grow to be 12 feet tall! So the joke's on me if Marianne lives and I have to find a place for another 12 foot rose bush! XD

Kristen says Marianne will probably be all right. But oh, why did it have to be Marianne??? :O
