My birthday girl.

I can't remember if I ever posted a "before" picture of this doll Kristen rerooted for me before we had her repainted by Retrograde Works.

She very clearly used to be Rochelle Goyle. Now she's all blue! Her hair is a blend of Restoredoll saran in Sky Blue and Snow White. I was originally going to do the blue theme on a Skull Shores Frankie, but I figured that since Rochelle also has gray skin, why not her instead?

Her outfit came off I Love Fashion Abbey. Abbey has the cutest outfits, IMO.

The freeze didn't do any visible damage to our roses. I guess they're more cold-hardy than I thought! Our Nikko Blue hydrangea has melted, though, so I'm positive that we did have a freeze.

Tomorrow is going to be hard on all of us. We decided that we might as well celebrate our birthday today and enjoy ourselves a bit before the funeral.

It feels a little weird to say "Happy Birthday!" knowing what's going on with your family but I do hope that you two can find a bit of happiness today, regardless.

I've been so tempted by Rochelle and her stony skin but have yet to get her. She looks great with her new look there!

Thank you! I was at least able to have a day of peace before the funeral, and for that I'm grateful.

I love Rochelle's skin tone and face sculpt, but her eyes are often printed unevenly. She really does look better after a repaint!
