Busy busy busy.
Aug. 4th, 2003 11:50 pmUm, kind of. ^o^
I tried to get back on the wagon today with many things. I studied Japanese, rooted a ring on my red-brown SH-06 head (two more loops to go, and then the remaining side of the part, woo hoo!), made a pitcher of iced oolong tea, wrote several pages in my paper journal (just rambling, but it's a start!) lifted weights, completed Alexander's profile on my page, and listed some stuff on eBay. I'm selling an SD item, so you might want to take a look:

I have too many dolls. They usually don't sell well on eBay but I have to give it a try once in awhile. I had mentioned this to my grandmother last night when she asked me how the doll business going, and she said "Well, it doesn't cost anything to try, does it?" And I thought Uh, yeah it does, but I didn't have the heart to break it to her ^_^;;....
I should have been writing something lofty in my paper journal (my terrible handwriting is a great security measure!) but instead I just scribbled down plans for some custom dolls I want to make. I've added a girl with long black hair, side-parted with straight-across bangs and gray-blue eyes like Nadia's to my never-ending List. I also decided that rather than fiddle with a NDR #5 head with dark brown hair I'd prefer to use another SH-06 head and give him the same kind of red-brown eyes I used for Emilie's doll. I just don't feel like messing around with any more heads I might not like. I love using the SH-06 head for boys, it's probably my favorite 1/6 scale head of all time, along with the SH-07, SH-11 and the good old A-type head. ^o ^ I doubt most people share my tastes! I do like realistic heads a lot but I just don't do well with them. =_= Best to let someone else use them!
I played the Sims a little tonight. I like to play that game whenever I start feeling lazy about keeping the house clean and being domestic in general. One's environment can be so important in maintaining their mood. I'd better vacuum tomorrow. I was going to do it tonight but it rained all day and our ceiling leaks--didn't want to get electrocuted!
Oh, and Alexander's completed profile is here:
