Eyeco Eyes.

I was very surprised by the arrival of Fuuka and Maya's Eyeco eyes today! Isn't a package you haven't been expecting for days the best kind of surprise ^_^? Well, here they are for your viewing, lj-cut for your convenience:

These are Stormy, 20mm. The iris design is beautiful. They're the hard plastic polymer Masterpiece line as opposed to the soft glass ones, about $10 a pair. Pretty expensive for non-glass eyes if you ask me! But they're even lovelier than the New Realistic Series eyes.

And here's Maya with her Chuck Hazel eyes in 18mm. Kristen tells me that they're labelled as "Forest" on their package but I know I ordered Chuck Hazel! Ah...who cares as long as they're pretty? I personally think SD Aya looks nice with dark eyes. These eyes looked a little freaky on the website but in person they're quite natural-looking. ^___^

All in all I think these eyes are very nice. My only gripe is that they aren't available in 16mm! I would love to get the Champagne ones for Miyako--phooey.

Beautiful eyes! Fuuka's look great with her dark hair, and I think Maya looks like a real little person with the brown ones! Wow!

I didn't think I'd want to try anything but Zoukei-mura eyes (I've become spoiled!) but the many pairs I have on order with Minako still haven't come in. I'm feeling very antsy! These Eyeco eyes are a nice change of pace. I just wish they came in more of a variety of colors!

The eyes are pretty weird actually, they're shaped like glastic eyes except they're missing the back half. Almost like they forgot to finish putting them together! I guess they would be considered half-round. They are very nice to look at! I wish I could buy some more, but at $10 a pair and up it would start to add up!
