Cold Time.

leene_chanIt has been pretty cold over the past few days, but I've been keeping the windows open because BooBoo is a spoiled brat.
We've been trying out the Tiki Cat Puka Puka Luau canned food with him and at first he didn't seem to know what to do with it. He usually only eats pate-style canned food, and the chicken shreds were way too long for him to eat easily. Once we started chopping the meat up finer with a kitchen shears he realized that he loved it. I hope that he does well on it. I really want to be able to rotate his canned food flavors. I'm not happy with the inconsistency of the Wellness food.
I'm still playing Hakuoki. I'm about halfway through Chapter 2, with a Japanese-language FAQ firmly in hand. I'm going for the Hijikata route because it's the first on the list. Since I'm still pretty early in the game, I haven't formed any strong opinions on the characters, but I don't hate any so far. Comparing it to the other big Otomate franchises, I think that it's a lot better than Amnesia. The language is very challenging, but the story is interesting enough to me to keep me motivated to continue. My DS kanji dictionary is a God-send!
