Done at last.

I told myself that I was not to post another entry until I finished the SD sweater I've been knitting for almost a month. So, here it is, all done! ^___^ I didn't do a great job on it. I'm still very much a beginner at knitting, and this project wasn't without its mishaps. Phew....! ^o ^ The rosettes were Kristen's idea. I'm very happy with that pink color on Maya, but I wish I had been more careful with the neckline! I must improve myself. SDs look nice in sweaters.

Date: 2003-10-01 11:58 am (UTC)That reminds me, how much was Aya from Doll and Hobby? I bought Aya and Michael together so I don't know the individual prices. I'm hoping Frank will have Sylvie in, because she'd be a lot cheaper through him than with Masamichi!

Date: 2003-10-01 01:03 pm (UTC)When I bought Aya/Maya she cost $680. Considering that both she and Lady Sylvie have a list price of 68,000 yen, Sylvie would probably cost the same. I hope that Frank takes orders for her!

Date: 2003-10-02 08:23 am (UTC)I tried knitting the collar separately and sewing it on, but it didn't look great either.
The best way for me is putting everything on one needle and knitting the collar directly, like this :
