Miyako-chan's Face-up.
Dec. 7th, 2003 11:19 pmThat's what I did, because I was bored today.
Volks Make-up Remover wasn't what I expected. It's oily and a much weaker solvent that the professional strength nail polish remover I usually use. I can imagine that it must be safer on the resin! O_O It cut through the sealer nicely, but it took me forever to remove Miyako-chan's paint and I almost used up the entire bottle. I think I have enough for Ciel, but yikes! Why do they give you so little?
I was wondering what the heck it could be. Kristen says it could be linseed oil. Hmm. For the sanctity of my SDs, I will use only Volks Make-up Remover for now on.
I also got to try out my new Volks pastels. They're nice....I had to shave them into a powder and apply them with a clean sponge-tip applicator, though. They're about as good as human cosmetics, I just don't know how one can apply them with a brush!
Even though they're supposed to be for Christmas, in honor of her new face-up I put her kite purple eyes in and tried out the "light brown" waffle wig. That's right, light brown is what Volks calls it!
Does she really look that different?
