That's what I did, because I was bored today.

Volks Make-up Remover wasn't what I expected. It's oily and a much weaker solvent that the professional strength nail polish remover I usually use. I can imagine that it must be safer on the resin! O_O It cut through the sealer nicely, but it took me forever to remove Miyako-chan's paint and I almost used up the entire bottle. I think I have enough for Ciel, but yikes! Why do they give you so little?

I was wondering what the heck it could be. Kristen says it could be linseed oil. Hmm. For the sanctity of my SDs, I will use only Volks Make-up Remover for now on.

I also got to try out my new Volks pastels. They're nice....I had to shave them into a powder and apply them with a clean sponge-tip applicator, though. They're about as good as human cosmetics, I just don't know how one can apply them with a brush!

Even though they're supposed to be for Christmas, in honor of her new face-up I put her kite purple eyes in and tried out the "light brown" waffle wig. That's right, light brown is what Volks calls it!

Does she really look that different?

I didn't know you could put make up on them..thats pretty cool! I always thought they would just paint over them again? Whooa. She's pretty, by the way.

Yep, even though you need to paint the lips, eyebrows, and eyewells you can use chalk pastels or human makeup (usually just blush or eyeshadow) to make them look more pretty. Some people use an airbrush for that....but I don't have one, and even if I did I wouldn't know how to use it! XD

Thanks for the compliment ^_^!

Thank you! It was my first time doing a face-up since January, soooo.....I'm glad if it turned out all right.

Now that I think of it, that wig might be light gold. Or is that natural gold? =_= Either way, the name makes no sense! Why not "dark brown" or "chestnut brown?"

Aw, Miyakochan looks so sweet! I think those eyes look lovely with the lip and eyeshadow colors you chose.

Thanks! :D I figured that neutral lips would be Miyako's trademark, seeing as we have three MSDs in the house.

Thank you ^_^!

Those kite purple eyes (Volks #1?)were supposed to be Kristen's birthday present to her in March, but....you know, they took this long to come in!
