At long last, our 20mm glass eyes came in! Here's Ciel-chan with her new #4 Green Apple eyes:

We also got Rose for Fuuka, but Kristen will post those in her journal. ^_^ I had ordered the #4 Volks eyes from Minako a year ago but they still haven't come in. I figured that if I bought them from Little Tail I could sell the extra pair later.

I remember that this particular color used to be legendary! Even in the current jaded time they still seem special to me. There's a bit of a difference in the size of each iris, but it's kind of hard to notice.

Very pretty! The colour does remind me of apples :-) I, too, think they are a special colour--no other eye company (besides Volks & AR) offers this type of green. So nice!

:D I admit that it's hard to find a green like that by any other maker! Green Apple looks a little like A.R Lime Green (we had bought those in 18mm for Maya a while back) but is lighter and a bit more yellow. I'm glad that we got them in two vastly different sizes because they still do look similar!

By the way, Damien looks very nice in your icon! I love his sweater ^_^!

Thank you :-) As you can probably guess, I made the sweater for him! I'm really happy with how it turned out, and the drop shoulder pattern is quite simple and fun to make.

You did a great job! :D I'm glad to hear it's an easy pattern because I'm in the middle of making a sweater for Maya using it and I'm afraid I'm going to mess up!

The part that you have to be most careful on is centering the sleeves properly, especially if you are using the method where you pick up stitches. I'm working on my second one right now, and this time I did not place markers like the pattern calls for, I found that it is just as easy to visualize where to start and end the sleeves, the centre is pretty easy to spot.

I keep making all these sweaters for my dolls, and now my husband wants me to make him one!! :-) What have I gotten myself into? Haha!
