It hurts, and who knows why?

I saw my kitty friend for the first time since the beginning of winter. I went out on our deck when I caught sight of him and for a minute he just stared at me--then he came bounding over. ^_^ Cute kitty. He looked in good health but he was shedding like crazy! He got cat hair all over my jacket. It was cold outside and very windy, and the poor thing just wanted to stay on my lap...but then I started to freeze and had to go inside.

Apparently, he still hasn't given up kneading! His claws were as sharp as ever. O_o I noticed that his coat is starting to show some brown. I feel bad seeing that cat under my deck on such a chilly day, but I have a feeling that if his owners were mistreating him he wouldn't be so gregarious around me and my family. He's probably spoiled rotten. ^o^

I don't know, because he belongs to neighbors that live on down the street! ^__^;...I'm hoping that they don't keep him outside all the time. I hear they have 12 cats, so maybe they do.

The feral kittens in our area are still very much terrified of people, since they haven't had human contact and haven't been "socialized" to like cuddling and such. My guess is that your kitten friend has good owners, if he's that friendly! :)

We may be getting kittens in the next month or so... Husband has been working on clearing out space in our basement area for cat-stuff to go in. Of course, once we have kittens, I'll have to move all of my doll and crafting-stuff into The Room Where No Cat Is Allowed... so no more Volks dolls dancing on the computer desk. :p
