Sorry for the picspam, but I can't resist these flowers! Grape hyacinth, along with mock orange, are the flowers of my youth. I used to sneak into my neighbor's yard when I was a kid and pick them. XD

Maybe that was a rotten thing to do. I only did it a few times! I sure would be ticked off if I caught kids stealing my flowers, but at the same time, I think I'd take some cheer to know that there are some kids who still experience wonder at the sight of a pretty flower...

I believe that Trader Joe's new Cha Sui Bao (Chinese-style Pork Buns) were put on earth to reassure me that I haven't lived my life in vain.

They make up for the horrible Pork Shumai. They more than make up for the disappointment I've been feeling while attempting to replay Tales of the Abyss, a PS2 game I initially loved but am now seeing for all its cliched mediocrity. I love these warm, squishy-sweet dough balls with the chopped-up barbecue pork in the middle so much I'm thinking about them again right now, even though I ate one two hours ago. I know I must love them well now, because if they're anything like the other Trader Joe's products I enjoy they'll probably be available for exactly two weeks.

Be sure to try them some time! Unless, of course, you're a vegetarian or go to the Trader Joe's in West Hartford, CT, all those pork buns are mine, mine, MINE!
