Here's Day at the Maul Frankie Stein!

She was found at my local Super Stop'N Shop, of all places. :D...

She's a variation of Gloom Beach Frankie, with a different outfit and hairstyle. I love her makeup! She unfortunately isn't perfect; her lip paint has a little ding in it that I didn't notice at first. Oh well. At least all her body parts are in working order!

For some reason this doll only turns up at grocery stories.

She's adorable. At least the lip thing isn't really noticeable. :)

Thank you! I love her a lot. She was actually the first Monster High doll I was attracted to. Amazon uses the picture of this doll for their listing for Classroom Frankie but unfortunately that actual doll looks completely different!

I wasn't sure if I'd be able to find this doll at all. I've only seen one or two on eBay. Everyone who's found her seems to have found her at a grocery store or Kohl's, not TRU, Wal-mart or Target. How odd...

I'm glad that the lip flaw doesn't show up much in photos. It isn't really a big deal. I guess one just has to accept that none of these dolls are going to be perfect.

I forget the Toy Business Term, but there's a specific term for toys that are specifically aimed at non-traditional toy outlets like grocery stores, drug stores, etc. I've seen the "Gloom Beach Frankie/Draculaura in Day at the Maul fashion" dolls at clearance outlets like Big Lots/Job Lot as well.

It can be frustrating, especially when we have to comb stores like Family Dollar for something that they're not even guaranteed to carry. :/

That's very interesting! I guess there's more to it than mere coincidence!

You can't even find those two dolls at Amazon. I was lucky that the grocery store I found Frankie at was only a few minutes from my house. But really, how odd!

It's not like she was any cheaper than the other dolls...
